  • Prevents shingle lift, leaks, and premature roof failure
  • Stops spores spreading to gutters, patios, and siding
  • Improves curb appeal and helps roofs last longer
  • Safe, manufacturer-friendly methods (no harsh pressure)

Our 3-Step Process

1) Gentle De-Moss

Hand tool + soft-wash rinse to lift bulk moss without tearing shingle granules.

2) Biocide Treatment

Apply pro-grade moss/algae killer; keeps working after we leave to halt regrowth.

3) Clean-Up & Flow

Gutters cleared, downspouts flushed, ground rinsed so spores don’t re-seed.

Moss Removal FAQ

What’s the best time of year to remove moss or treat a roof?

The best time for moss removal and treatment is during the drier months — typically from late spring through early fall. That’s when roofs are dry enough for us to safely remove growth and apply treatment that fully bonds to the shingles. That said, in BC’s mild climate, we can often work year-round when weather allows. We just avoid heavy rain days to make sure the treatment sticks and gets maximum results.

Is treatment safe for pets and plants?

We pre-wet and post-rinse landscaping and use controlled application. Keep pets off treated areas until dry.

How long will it last?

Most roofs stay clear 18–36 months. Shady/wooded lots may benefit from annual light retreatment.

Can you do gutters at the same time?

Yes — we include gutter clean/flush with roof moss service so everything flows properly.
